Gayle was a 1973 graduate of Union Local High School, where she met her high school sweetheart and eventual husband, Bob. They were married on February 15, 1975 and enjoyed 48 years of wedded bliss. Bob and Gayle were a true testament to the marriage vows they took that day. They spent their years together raising their children on their dairy farm near Flushing. She had an adventurous spirit and loved going new places and traveling different routes. Gayle loved her family and they were always her top priority. When you needed her, she was there. When she was not working or running kids around, she enjoyed working in her flower beds at home, creating new landscapes, watching OSU football games, and spending evenings outside listening to music with Bob. But most of all, she loved being with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 4-8pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719. The funeral service will on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 11am at the funeral home.
